The 2023-2024 season was one for the books for Team 23184A Aloha. Our journey began at Harriton High School, where we experienced our first "Over Under" game and finished with a 3-3 record, placing 16th. Next, we competed at New Foundations, where the difference between us and 6th place came down to just one point. We finished 13th at that tournament and won our organization’s first Judged Award through the Judges Award. Following New Foundations, we had back-to-back tournaments at Great Valley and Knights. At Great Valley, we placed 18th and made it all the way to the Semi-Finals. At Knights, we placed 3rd and made it to the finals, where we narrowly lost with a score of 121-87. We concluded our season with tournaments at Spring-Ford, Norristown, and the State Championship, where we placed 43rd, 34th, and 21st respectively. States was a blast, and we were thrilled to be picked by the 8th seed. Although we did not make it to Worlds, we learned a lot about who we are and how we can succeed as a team. Thank you to everyone who supported us throughout this incredible season!
Team 23184A: Aloha is excited for the Over Under challenge this year! With a combination of new and seasoned members, this team is super excited to get a move on with the year.

He finds immense joy in robotics, not only for the technical aspects but also for the opportunity to connect with new students. Tate thrives on the challenges that robotics presents, as it pushes him to think outside the box and find innovative solutions.
Ryan Segar
Ryan Seger Ryan joined robotics back in freshman year because it seemed to be an interesting follow up to a similar grade school club. He has always loved building with Legos, and the love for building transfers to robotics. In addition, Ryan saw this club as a way to make new friends. His recommendation is that robotics is a lot of fun and is worth joining!
Gabe Scarborough
Gabe is a senior at Conwell-Egan who joined robotics because it seemed like a fun environment to make new friends. Experimenting with the tools in the engineering room is a fun opportunity to build new things. He also believes that the innovative process of designing and building a new robot is also a fun way to be challenged
Calleigh Joyce
Calleigh Joyce is a current junior at Conwell-Egan and this is her first year in robotics. She joined because of her love and passion for physics and math which can be implemented when building a robot. Beyond robotics, Calleigh is also a member of DLFF and is a stage manager in Conwell-Egan's drama program. She looks forward to and is enthusiastic about her first robotics season.
